Definately my favorite Dunny up for auction at the Pirate Store. Is it bad that I still collect toys?
The New WordPress
September 15, 2006I like the way the new wordpress is handling things. It’s very Web2.0, right?
So I’ve got another blog: The Campus Crawl at Blogger
Giving Up on The Street
July 27, 2006I’m officially giving up on investing for awhile. I’ve got the curse. I hold when I’m making money and selling when I’m losing money. Wait. That’s not a curse, it’s just poor investing. Good thing I got rid of my MOT just before they announced their quarterly’s.

Qumana
July 26, 2006This is the first post I’ve created with Qumana and so far so good. It automatically discovered all the blogs I have with wordpress and it downloaded my categories too. The time is way off, but that can be fixed pretty easily I think. I’ll play around a bit more and let you know how it goes.

Random Bits
June 7, 2006I’m back from Europe and doing just fine. I caught a bit of the fever over there, the cup is coming. If your like me, then you have already added every match to your personal calendar, work calendar, and google calendar. If not, the go to World Cup KickOff to download the matches the easy way (in the right timezone too!). If you’re looking for places to watch the games, go to the Park Avenue Country Club or ESPNZone. It’s never to early to booze (before work).
I’m a little frustrated with my iPhoto at the moment. It’s having a hard time dealing with my RAW photos. It’s kinda strange, some of my photos can’t be exported to jpeg and others just have a thumbnail.
For the Entourage fans, The Honey Brothers are getting kinda big I guess. Go to The Honey Brothers dotcom and listen. I’m sad I missed them at the Bowery Ballroom in January.
Speaking of Bowery, Tapes ‘N Tapes played there twice this week. I missed both shows. But to my credit, it’s hard to pay $40 to see these guys in New York when everywhere else the tickets are going for $10. They’ll be at Siren Fest on July 15th. It’s free, so go and support them.
Tonight, I’m off to ESPNZone (my first time) and then to see Avenue Q on Broadway with Melissa. Pretty Excited.
GFailed
May 4, 2006My GMail has been down for the last hour or so. Uh oh. I'm so unconnected. Is this what Prague is going to be like? At least Blogger, Reader, and GCal are working fine. In the mean time, I guess I'll do some shopping online. But how will I know if my order was confirmed or not? I feel so helpless!
Addendum: Looks like Blogger is having some problems too. Damn it, Google. Are you trying to remind me of how you rule my world?
I’ve Gone Home
April 6, 2006The Office: Internet-Exclusive Content
March 20, 2006According to my favorite mac only website, TUAW, NBC’s hit comedy series, The Office, will be embracing its Internet success with a few web-only episodes expected to “air” this summer. Money says that they will be available for purchase via iTunes. Let’s all hope so.
Teamwork
March 20, 2006While everyone should know that when a team’s size increases past a certain point, it faces the productivity paradox, Jeff Bezos puts a very creative spin on team sizing:
“If you can’t feed a team with two pizzas, the size of the team is too large.”
–Jeff Bezos, chairman, CEO, and founder, Amazon.com
From Fast Company‘s recently released book, The Rules of Business: 55 Essential Ideas to Help Smart People (and Organizations) Perform At Their Best
I prefer smaller teams (around 6 people), but that’s just because of my managing style. I imagine CEOs need to be able to manage teams of this size. I’ll get there.
